Keishu Kawai is a Japanese Shodo artist [japanese calligraphy]. She was born in Ibaraki submontane to the holy mountain Tsukuba. Keishu Kawai lives
and works in Colmar, France. Her performance is set against the rigidly defined chronology of events that is part of traditional japanese calligraphy, its presentation and its expression of
personality. This, however, without losing sight of the central theme of Shodo - Minimalism on paper, perfection of movement and the strict interpretation of the age old templates.
